Phonics in Action, available for grades K–2, is the newest member of the Loyola Press family of literacy products. Phonics in Action provides systematic and explicit phonological and phonemic awareness and phonics instruction that is essential to students’ literacy success.
Our approach to phonics encourages active learning by incorporating fine- and gross-motor skills and promoting student interaction. These active learning strategies make learning new concepts fun and engaging while helping students retain new information and skills. Phonics in Action features a robust toolkit, with numerous resources organized in the LP Digital Library. This centralized repository for all program resources makes implementation simple. Resources in the LP Digital Library include reproducibles, diagnostic assessments, decodable audio stories, professional development videos, and more.
