Welcome to Reading in Action

This innovative program integrates with Voyages in English to further promote grammar and writing skill mastery by leveraging the power of reading. Teachers introduce thoughtfully curated high-interest readers while following a flexible five-step lesson structure that allows for the introduction of a new high-interest reader simultaneously alongside a new grammar concept or writing genre. This direct connection between Voyages in English and Reading in Action supports teachers as they follow the regular Voyages pacing while choosing a flexible Reading in Action implementation model that works best in their classroom. Reading in Action supports a learning center-based solution with small- or whole-group instruction.
